Likes Bush on Terrorism

Hi Tony,
I have been reading some of the posts on your issues area and have to speak up. I am a 55 year old hunter and fisherman, and I lean to the right politically. I know the Bushies are not the best friends of sportsmen, but I am not a single issue voter either. Single issue folks, such as pro life, pro choice, pro/anti gun, whatever! baffle me. As much as I love the outdoors, the world situation carries more weight as to who I endorse.

We are at war with terror, have been for some time but we apparently didn't know it. Kerry's response to how he would react to an attack on America was something like "if we are attacked, I will respond". Well by then it is too late. At least Bush is going after terrorists, and yes some things are not going as well as we all would like.

Bush is not the panacea, but Kerry is not either IMO. (Imagine Al Gore/John Kerry handling things after the 9/11 attack. Makes me nauseated). I guess I am saying that in the world climate we face now, the focus has to be on national security. Dems do not excell here. Islamic terrorists hate America/Americans and want to kill us. And I can hear Kerry folks ranting that this is due to Bush attacking Iraq, etc. Well the first WTC attack and the attack on the USS Cole were not Dubya's fault. It is a
war we are in. Everything else takes a back seat. At least now, if Kerry is elected, God only knows what will happen, but I don't want to find out.
